URGENT: Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund sponsored by COVE groups

Donations are going to Life Vision Academy, a boarding school in Nepal run by the NGO Children and Youth First.
We are letting Colgate students send messages of support and love to kids at LVA: you can have people write a message on the whiteboard at the coop table, and then take a picture of them holding up that sign and text it to 973.738.2757.

Their dormitory cracked in the earthquake, and all the kids are currently sleeping outside on the pavement in the rain. The students, their families, and the community are all in urgent need of emergency supplies. All the kids at the school are from marginalized communities and families, so they are at high risk and of great need.

The organization is a registered 501c3 and the USA director is a member of the Colgate community, providing a secure, safe, direct and effective way for students to donate.

Donations can be made by cash, Gate Card sheet, or online at www.lifevisionacademy.org.

We would prefer online to GateCard sheet because it is more secure.
